Welcome back Napolian!
Sorry to hear about your wife. She would be proud of you making a fresh start and a dog is a great companion and icebreaker.
You gave picked a lively area for a trial run.
Hope all goes well.

I have now decided to get on the road again with my (sometimes) very well behaved dog Missy, and smaller Fiat Benimar motorhome, so if you see us in your travels please call round for a chat and maybe a small libation(or two).
We are setting off early tomorrow for a mini tour around the `Neuk of Fife` for a few days and also to check everything out, may have to call on some of you experts if things go wrong.
Finally thanks to MHF staff for sorting out my membership and subscription in time for this little jaunt.
Regards to all
Yeah welcome back and enjoy your "new" van. I came back last year after 6 years away from the site too. Enjoy!!

Welcome back Napoleon.

I'm finding solo motorhoming is different, but it is still very worthwhile - enjoyable even.

Good luck!

It can't be easy

But I so hope it becomes easier with time

Thanks folks, I was away 5 weeks there. Half of it with my sister in Scotland, half of it on my own (but catching up with friends) in England.

It worked well.(Well, apart from the leak and the bash )

I'm booked for France in September for a month, meeting up with family for 10 days of that.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Welcome back Napoleon.

And to you and 'jiwawa' I hope the Solo Motorhoming is as therapeutic as mine was after, not a breavement but a split. It was(and still is) my first MH 7 years ago and it helped me to get around and do things, which helped a lot.

Since then, 5 years ago, it stopped being solo and basia and I have had some very good times in the MH, so who knows....?

Solo or not enjoy it all.

I worked in the Kingdom of Fife many years ago ( Methil, rig yard) a very nice area, I must have a jaunt back up memory lane myself at some point soon, anyway enough about me, welcome back and be sure to post about your trip as I will be very interested in places to stay etc for my own use.
