Lidl have a Celestron range of monoculars. Sorry this is strictly speaking off topic !

Celestron Spektiv Landscout includes a tripod; cost total: 70 Euros.
Online only. Worth a look ? ( no pun intended ! )

Thanks ob1 - I've ordered something similar to what I had, this one is 8x32. Due early next week so I shall report back then.

Now, a question to the bird feeders out there - when the seed gets too low in the feeder, do I throw out the seed (sunflower hearts) that are still there, or do I remove it, top up then put that old seed on top? I'm inclined to think it should be moved.
