Hi,
I have 264 which I presume is fitted with the same valve, Tired of skinning my knuckles on the plastic skirt each time I opened the valve I extended the drain to to side of the van.
A 22mm push fit connector, the same as you find under your sink is a snug fit in the original valve, a length of 22mm waste pipe with a plastic on/off valve fitted completes the job (I bought the valve at a show, I think from O'Learys, a couples of cable ties supports the new length of pipe the original valve stays open all the time now.
Hope this helps,
Regards PKC.
