Selling Motorhome in Europe

We are contemplating advertising our LHD Hobby 750 in Europe, believing that the European market may be more interested in our vehicle than the UK. Has anyone had any experience of doing this.

www.leboncoin.fr is a vast French site and free to advertise.

I have had quite some success in selling all sorts of things on it.

Ray.

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life“s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

Selling motorhome in Europe

Hi
Le Bon Coin is a good site but I think you will have trouble selling a Hobby 750 in France. The French do not seem to like large vans and of course their licences only allow them to drive up to 3500kgs.
Kind regards

Selling in Europe

Ciao, bear in mind that when selling in Europe; your purchaser, or you; may have to face some fairly savage transfer of ownership fees, and of course re registration if you have UK plates. In the EU it's not as straight forward and simple as the UK you know.
If you want to give it a try in Italy, this site takes free ads and is more popular in Italy than fleabay

I recently sold my LHD arto to a swedish guy. He bought 3 that trip. Id o have his contact details. If you are interested, I can contact him just send me the details of the van.
He was very good, and I had no problems whatso ever.

We are looking for a van to tour Europe and my licence only lets me drive up to 3500kgs.

What is the average van length in France. Please?

I have heard a lot about a 6 metre barrier.

Thank you

Don't know anything about any 6m. rule Hoddamadod.

But the 3,500kg. limit is true if you only have a French car license.
But if you still retain your UK driving license and have the 7,500kg. limit you can continue to drive a motorhome up to the 7,500kg. weight limit.
