Apparently they start green and go brown as they get older !

Sort of ripening for stink bugs !

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

It's hibernation time for flies now and we see them congregating on warm west facing walls and windows trying to get inside.
To stop them getting into the window crevices and moisture drain holes we put a screwed up bit of tissue into each drain which still allows any moisture to leave.

Ray.

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life“s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

Not like you Jean. Start by hanging strings of Garlic round the van. You can always use it later.

I do have a bulb of garlic but there's no smell off it. I did consider mincing it and somehow hanging that under the fan but the thought of it falling on my bedding put me off!

If you like you can tape the vent up and we'll vacuum them out when you get here Jean.

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

That sounds promising Alan! I'm not quite sure what you mean (attacking from the inside or the outside?) but you can explain when I see you.

I came across one of the horrible beasties on the curtain just at my head - I'm shuddering just writing that!

Thanks again for that Pat. Today I cut up a few cloves of garlic n put them in a bowl positioned as high as I could (about 2' below the grille). I made sure the auto-fan was off, opened the vent as far as it would go and left it all day.

This morning they were shucked into the 4 recesses round the rim, about 3 apiece, with a couple of loose ones on the fan itself. Tonight I think all the recesses are empty and I can see only a couple round the rim - tho there may be one or two others lying low.

So that looks like success!!

And this morning I could see only 1, stuck into the wee alcove. There's always 1 isn't there?! Maybe he's got covid n lost his sense of smell!

Anyway, I rattled his cage a bit, wakening him from his slumber n gave him full-fat garlic smell that he couldn't miss. Then I left him to it while I went a walk. He seems to have gone! Yippee!! I'm a much happier bunny now!
