How many nights?

I worked out that we have spent 118 nights away so far in the MH this year! We also have another 11 booked and plans for at least 1-2 other trips for this year yet to book. That should take us comfortably past the 140 night mark.

I think perversely the lack of our ability/desire to travel abroad has allowed us to spend longer on UK trips this year than we would normally. In 'normal; times we would plan our year around 3 foreign trips:- Spain in January for 2 months; and elsewhere in Europe for a month in May and again in September. UK based trips would then be a week here and there but usually including 3 trips up to Gloucestershire to see rellies and friends.

How may nights have you been away this year?

18 on four short trips!
However we did pass the 1000 mile mark for the year which is slightly more than last year!
2 years with a health problem and 2 years of Covid and we actually got to France in 2019!

Less than 10 I think due to family commitments and hospital appointments and 2 breakdowns, Liz wants to get off but to be honest I'm less than bothered, I'll come round, but just not right now.

Over 100 so far. Its certainly the longest UK trip we have done by a country mile. Maybe a week or two before we run out of places to go and end up at home then away again (possibly) for Christmas and New Year.

I'm not sure if a 'Like' is appropriate for your reply Ray (or indeed for part of Ted's)....but you got one anyway!

To date I have spent 86 days away from home this year, I have made umpteen new friends and have been invited to visit many of them. I’ve travelled 6,828 km since June with 500 more to go home from here.
I could add up how much I have spent on diesel, but who cares the van won’t run without it. This trip I’ve traveled 2,680 km so far.

Nice one Jan. We did just shy of a 1000 miles on our recent northern trip. Add in our other trips and id say we must have done 2500-3000 miles this year in the MH.

So far this year 63 but we are still on the west coast of the Peloponnese(sun shining, Tamarisk tree for shade and a sea breeze - eat your hearts out in UK, says the smug bastard) and are on the Patras-Venice ferry on Friday night en-route home to Poland so maybe another 7 days and possibly 3-4 days in Slovakia before end October.

Being Continent-based does have some advantages for travel, particuarly during Covid.
