Will have to record as hid is glued to something.

Ray.

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life“s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

The TV companies seem to have latched onto this well and truly now. More (annoying) motorhome programs = more annoying motorhomers!! GO AWAY!

As I thought. Same absolute Shite as Come dine with me, four in a shed etc etc. Did watch it as our next stop on Thursday will be the Lake District although I do know it like the back of my hand as I live not far away and had a boat there for years.

Looking at the wildies site POI all the old wild spots are well gone, sites are a bit pricey and from what I can gather still busy. Even a CL is twenty quid if you can get on. Mind you i manged to get on a CL that only has two pitches open because of Covid or summat at Bassenthwaite because someone had cancelled because they couldnt get diesel. So that will be our first stop. I think I just about have enough diesel to get there from Dumfries and Galloway after that Im stuffed.

Maybe. This little site we are on now seems to have. https://solwayviewholidays.co.uk/

When we arrived on Sunday there were a few campervans and tents in the field we were on which has massive pitches and yesterday they spent about three hours packing up. What a bloody racket and fuss they made. Now they are all gone and we have the entire field / section to ourselves. Loads of free pitches here now. Somehow though I think the Lakes might be a different story. From what I have gathered from CL and site owners its the weekends now that are busy. Perhaps a lot of working age people bought vans, caravans and tents and are wanting to get as much use out of them as possible.

Our neighbours over the road are among those people. Not sure how long it will last as they have 3 young children and I well remember giving our van up and just going Haven for our holidays until daughter was old enough to stay up later with us.
I give it one winter or maybe two before lots of vans on the market.

Thinking about selling ours after all the problems and while there is still a bubble and maybe buying again next year if we are still wanting one.

Yes I keep wondering about buying a new van and if the bubble will burst. I came withing a hairs breadth of selling this one in the Spring and now I am glad I didnt as we have been away in it since June. I want to go back to mainland Europe next year though if possible and Im just not sure I want to do it in this van. Every time I look though the vans I have my eye on (couple of models) are just not up for sale.
