Fuel!

People have gone barmy round here. Queuing for fuel like there was some sort of shortage. Really makes me mad that they are so selfish. What about all the people trying to get to urgent hospital appointments or, worse, trying to get to their job in the hospital to save lives?

I had to get some fuel last night, I wouldn't have had enough to get into work next week otherwise.

Just I was pulling into the petrol station the news was telling us how a number of petrol stations but the government was saying people shouldn't panic buy, I thought to myself if anything is going to cause panic buying its the government telling us not to panic buy, sure enough, as I came from the kiosk they were three deep in the queues behind us (this petrol station has 10 pumps).

I'm sure the government telling us not to panic buy is the equivalent of a football manager saying he has the confidence of the club chairman, you know as soon as they say that they're due for the chop! Sure as eggs are eggs, if the government tell the great British public not to panic, they will panic, so much for trusting to the public's common sense!

I'm sure the government has it all in hand. Apparently the rest of Europe has it worse than us

Personal Aire
Do we ?

News to me, this part of Europe has every station open, no queues, price remaining stable.

We will make sure that we come over to the third world with a full tank…..

Should I bring a jerrycan or three “just in case”? 😉

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life´s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

A lot of fuel stations are putting a £30 limit on which is stupid because if they can get more than that in then they are the ones that should be filling up! The others putting £10 or £20 in should be surcharged! I just happened to go get a gallon can of petrol for our little mower the other day but it is not good for either of our cars . Chris needed diesel for the tractor and came home fuming at the queues!

Trouble is limiting a top up to £30 will just make people go to the next garage for another £30 and so on.
