Boob is showing.

Have I shown you already, I donīt know who I tell and who I donīt these days, too many forums and people to talk to
Iīll tell you in case I havenīt.

Not long after we had the Navajo Hans thought he would move it and ended up backing into our shed roof overhang making a bit of a hole in the roof of the van, it was repaired, but over the 5 nearly 6 years the paint is peeling off, it canīt be repainted yet as the temp is not warm enough, SO I would like to remove the rest of the paint that covers that spot and stick these bees over the hair line marks until the job can be done when I get back.

Iīve had 4 of these bees for over a year, couldnīt remember where I had stored them so ordered 4 more ready to stick on next time the van was cleaned, guess what, I now have 8 of them

The sensor was added after the prang, but I donīt think it works and we never paid for the job with the chaps agreement as he had never installed sensors on a high vehicle before. I expect if an expert looked at it he could fix it, maybe one day I will ask one.

My repair man is coming to look at it on Monday, so I will leave it as it is until he can give me advice.

I did look on the internet and it says WD 40, but Iīll wait.

Know the feeling Jan. And then someone will point out how old we are and make excuses.

Ray.

That looks like a particularly nasty repair!
The cracks appear to be in filler that has been used to make good the damage, if done correctly body filler will not behave like that unless too much has been applied too quickly and mixed with excess hardener.
The flaking off paint, I would again suggest has been caused by incorrect preparation.

Hopefully your man coming to look at it is not the same one that did the original.

.

It is about 6 years old John, the van is out in all weathers, when I got up there to look at it it looks like hair, it really is a good repair we have always been satisfied with his work, and he is the chap who was here within ten minutes of me hitting our overhang when Heike was supposed to be guiding me driving backwards.

It was a pretty nasty looking hole when Hans did it, but Mathias made it look as good as new.
When I rub my fingers over the place the only thing I feel is the peeling paint, I took this picture as close to it as I could ever get, its just like hairs and as smooth as the rest of the body.
He has nowhere tall enough to do this work inside.
