Unhappy Double sad

I have been looking through holiday photos, the ones taken during our Navajo ownership and of course the major sad is my missing Hans, the other is I donīt think I will be able to do what we intended and revisit two of the places 5 years on, the time is up this year.
One place was Poland, when we were there in 2016 a lot of new roads were under construction and we thought if we went back after 5 years they and others would make travelling through Poland a lot easier than it was at that time. The map shows the area we visited and the Polish people are very hospitable, talk to the right people and if they have a big enough garden they will invite you to park there, well we did park in one for almost a week and on 3 other occasions had offers.

The other place was a special place in the Czech Republic where they were in the process of renovating of a row of what once were beautiful buildings.
One was almost completed on the outside, but they told us a lot more needed doing inside. No idea what was happening to them once restored to their finer glory.
It is not far from about the only camp site we have enjoyed being in, the dogs were welcome, never had to be on a lead just under control, even in the restaurant where they would lay under the table until the staff encouraged them to go and say hello.

It will be sad to visit places you went together I imagine but maybe also enjoyable with Heike perhaps. I presume you have no idea when or if that will happen now?

I donīt think I have enough years left to do all I would like to do Barry, next year France and maybe a bit of Spain, then Iīm getting even nearer to becoming a really old lady, so unless I find someone to take me I probably wont get to all these places.
Iīm getting better, talking about these things are becoming less painful and more enjoying the lovely memories. We did travel to a lot of places we enjoyed where we met lovely people.

I got started on looking back on holidays, not just photos, but videos as well so not only do I see him, I hear him as well.
I am really glad I made videos of holidays because they are reminding me of so much, places we went, people we met, its almost like being there again.
If I canīt go on holiday yet I can relive the ones Iīve had.
Hereīs one place we stayed in Czech R. an Autocamp that was closed for the winter. We had the place to ourselves, A huge carpark just outside the gates between 2 lakes. Wind forward to 3.36 and see something you wouldn't expect on a camping ground.

If only I could Pat, I have a few from last year, but staying at home doesn't bring much.

Start a new hobby? Write a book? Learn an instrument?

My sister in law took up art during lockdown. She has to shield. She did an online course with the Open University which gives her, if she passes, the equivalent of an O or A level. She has become completely absorbed in it. She also does craft work like patchwork quilts.

You first need to be interested in doing something Pat. I have harmonicas here I could learn to play, if I wanted to.
Write a book, I could do that about all our dogs, but who would want to read it and anyway I am not writer.
They are not memories anyway.
Iīm going to collect the Navajo this afternoon, thatīs how my memories will be created, itīs ready to go, MOT for 2 years, all working parts checked, new oil as instructed by our trusted men, batteries checked and I belong to the ADAC so as soon as itīs a bit warmer and travel allowed, although I am told I can if have places to stay, just not caravan sites, Motley and I will take it on itīs adventure.
