FInnally booked the first w/e this yeat

Absolutely brilliant!!! Just booked up outside Kendal in May!! 2 nights and only £15 each. All the facilities there. Now, how to cover both e-bikes on the bike rack in the back? I'd like to take out the batteries while driving and want to make sure that the bikes don't get wet around the battery terminals?
Any ideas?

Congratulations! We are off to Kent, in May, to see our granddaughter. Our electric bikes travelled many miles on the back of our van with no problems at all. After all you should be able to ride an electric bike with no battery on if you wish.

I'm feeling a touch green. Here in NI we've no indication of dates - and actually I've been against that in the past as it just sets up future conflict. But when we got our road map, with no indication of when we might move forward, it felt like we'd been dropped in the middle of a very large, dark forest and told to find our way home with no map, compass or anything else. Bit depressing.

All I hear are people booking get-aways for September. Hope they are not all disappointed.

Just had an email from CAMC saying that both, Wales and Scotland will be bookable from end of April onward

We've booked Salisbury C&CC site for a week from 16 April. Son and family live there so hoping for some (still socially distant) meetings.
Will spend 2 nights at Oxford on the way there, and hopefully somewhere or other for a night or two on the way back to Yorkshire.

We booked our first trip for this year last week. We are off to Cheltenham (to see family); Cornwall; Devon; and Cirencester (to see family). 26 nights in all. As a precaution I have booked 'Super' Pitches with water where possible, in case we both have to use the on board facilities.

We are going to get away before then but are waiting until we hear more news from the Govt regarding opening rules/dates etc.

For Sept we are planning to go to Italy but again waiting until we know what is happening ...especially regarding the oft discussed 'Vaccination Passport'.

I have also just bought an electric bike but as its foldable it will go in the MH garage. My wife (who has MS and dodgy knees) has been having a go on it as well so we will get another one for her. It'll be a tight squeeze in the MH garage but both should just fit (after pruning what we carry a little bit)

I am away for the weekend too - visiting a new stopover on the west coast of Norway:

Various shops and restaurants nearby but thanks to covid I'm staying in and around my van.

Booked Moreton in Marsh from the 18th April for a few days, can't wait to get away although need to MOT the van, had a problem with the airbag module but bought a new one so it should now pass.
Not sure if I feel like driving though, woke up 4 weeks ago and had lost the sight in my left eye, apparently called a CRVO, under treatment at the moment so Karen may have a baptism of fire as she has never driven the van before, still a nice drive through the Chilterns/Cotswolds to get there.
