Thetford C250 Toilet

We had a slight problem with the toilet blade not opening properly when the cassette was installed. pulling the toilet handle resulted in the blade being partly visible when fully opened.

Googling the problem, a video showed a tugger (caravan owner) trying to undo the screw that holds the ratchet in place, known as the saddle that opens and closes the blade. It was hilarious as you cannot see what you are doing in the cassette housing to undo and reinsert the screw to allow you to reposition the ratchet.

I thought there must be an easier way........and there was. Get a other person in the bathroom to open the toilet by the handle, once done, pull the saddle away from the teeth of the ratchet with a little pressure and ask them to close the blade. When done slowly allow the saddle to come back into position......BINGO. all fixed in a minute

You were lucky! Toilet paper, pah.

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

Spooky travelled with us for 5 years and over 20,000 miles. He died aged 11 and is buried in Delphi in Greece.
Now that's a great age and a great adventure for a rabbit and I think he deserves a mention.
