I would think that if it is German registered you will have to give a German address. Also insurance companies will normally only insure vehicles registered in the country where they are licensed to conduct insurance activities.
Giving a German address may have the consequence that you will be required after 90 days to register for residency in Germany. Although some countries permit residencyin two countries.
It needs a lot more research and maybe some professional advice.
Not Germany but I am going similar processes in Poland, including filling in forms today.
