As a fifth wheel it is classed, in France, as an "articulated motorhome" and can, therefore, use the Aires. Wouldn't fancy our chances during August

I went to a VW festival once where one bloke had put a Porsche engine in his van. Reckoned it was good for 140 mph.

At that speed I think the aerodynamics would ensure you left the superstructure on the road while the engine went racing ahead!
