I won a competition on a leading campsite website back in December at a Best of British campsite, we are now here and it is anything but the best of british. The field we were pitched in has no tv reception so I insisted being moved to a field that has a tv hook up, the pitches are shabby compared to other BoB sites, the toilet block is just passable, most seasonal pitches have caravans covered in mildew etc.
Just glad I did not pay for this experience or I would demand a refund.
I will name and shame once we have left on Friday.
Please do. And give strongly worded feedback to the organisers of the competition. Maybe they'll offer you another stay somewhere else as compensation.
The internet gives the consumer incredible power these days, and people who deceive or otherwise fail the consumer do so at their peril.
Yep, Google always asks how we found anywhere we had been to. A couple of times I have had cause to complain and write a bad review the owners have contacted me to apologise. So these reviews are read.
If that is the site near Snead, then thanks for your thoughts as my ancestors farmed near there about 250 years ago, and I might well have gone there for a change of view.
