Finding a van

Are there any websites or other sources that ease the job of finding a van that fits certain criteria? Flogging one's way through all the manufacturers' and dealers websites trying to find what one wants is quite time consuming and frustrating. I'm thinking of some sort of search engine that could accept selections of requirements and which would then come up with a list of potential vans from all and any manufacturers. I know that some dealers websites have something like this but they tend to only search within the dealer's stock or models that they sell. I'm hoping for a more general and unbiased search method.

I suspect nothing like this exists but I'd be pleased to be proved wrong.

Well Ian's link above gives some info on layouts.

You do not say the following

Whether you want new or secondhand - as fashions in layout change

Budget

Use you will put it to - weekends, months, long-term, whether campsites or wildcamping.

Whether you have licence for over 3500kg

How many people will tour

Equipment and weight for leisure activities - bicyles, scooter, canoes etc.

That is just a list for starters.

Thanks - I wasn't expecting anyone to make suggestions of suitable vans so didn't give the relevant information but I appreciate your response.

We eventually opted for a Benimar as it met 95% of our requirements. Had to have the load carrying capacity uprated though as it had a miserable payload and our "normal" load would just about overload the rear axle otherwise let alone a fully loaded situation.
