Hot air heating. The China effect.

Cheap copies of the Eberspacher D5 on Amazon for around £130.00.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Eberspacher D2, the 2 Kw version, costs over £750. https://www.pfjones.co.uk/eberspache...ters-kits.html

Amazing value. Bad for Eberspacher and Webasto and not good that designs are knicked. But I can't help wondering why we should pay such a premium to protect the designers when a copyright fee would pay them.

And I finally found an Eberspacher D5 for sale. The Chinese one is a copy of the D5. The D5 costs just over £1100. https://www.heatso.com/eberspacher-a...kw-heater-kit/

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

Peeps on the DIY forums say the Chinese ones are quite good, some setup issues now and then.

Our Navajo has on route heating, it didn't work well until a taller chimney was fitted and a larger baffle under the van where the gas burns. No problem now and the fan works from the vehicle battery when in motion.

We bought Chinese battery connectors and they were crap, didn't fit the terminals and had to be modified.😡

Yes plenty of reviews and install vids on Youtube and they are generally viewed as pretty good
