All our grandkids are early 20s and have busy lives. No time for oldies like us, well not more than 2 mins.

Ray.

The FSA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our lifeīs savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. http://raynipper.com

Welcome back Sandra.
Sorry to hear about the tree. Yes, not sure why you should have to pay?

No grandkids here yet. Not sure how I feel about that. Some people become obsessed with theirs while others try to avoid them like the plague. A couple in our village deliberately moved here to be a long way away from each set of children (2nd marriage) and all the babysitting demands. They can go and stay for emergencies but are far enough away to dodge all the school run and sick day requests etc.

I doubt we did pat

But he was willing to wait a week as none emergency ,and it was still windy

The tree resting on the van and moving

Worried us

The wall thick with ivy less so

Albert and Young Albert took down the wall, left it on his side, and said make sure the fence is high enough for Shadow , the wall was

I think if the tree damaged the van it would have been down to our insurance

Our insurance would have fixed the wall between us

But it was not our tree that brought it down

So we stepped back

Sounds like if it was their tree then it was their problem. I expect your insurance company will know.

Well
Tonight
I said to Albert
Israel, 6 kids, 11 grandkids, plus two adopted

And me and you still together

Is a miracle

But no doubt the world turns at its allotted pace

Iím sick of the pond

Itís a huge tackle

Of the front, the collapsed wall

The artificial protection that prevents shadow getting to the road where heíd probably be killed by traffic

And maybe bite a few on route

Alberts electric bike has arrived

Of course itís far superior to mine, half as much again cost wise

He likes the best, 50 miles on electric

And yes Iím a bit jealous

But only because Iíd never pay that for me

But he would for him

So Iíve gone wrong somewhere

Will Albert use his more than you will use yours, though, Sandra?

I'm on final approach. I fly 2 weeks on Monday. 3 days in Preston to pick up the van, service and MOT. It's 5 years since the timing belt was done. Think its time. Couldn't bear the thought of a major engine repair. Then off to Manchester/Bury. Sooo looking forward to that. Then down to Norfolk seeing a number of friends on the way.

My life is lists, lists, lists.

I've sold my car and I have an irrational optimism my house will sell now. I've resigned from my copywriting job. I think the planets are coming round to my way of thinking. On the freeway of life, I've been behind the proverbial donkey cart for far too long.
