cabby

I have purposely used the ChiCat heading because this is where he is best known I think.

Paul (Coppo) sent cabby an email yesterday which cabby replied to, here is Pauls report on the content.
I imagine the intensive care refers to the food poisoning incident in January 2018.

Cabby spent a long time in the intensive care unit and doctors said it would take him about a year to recover, which he is still trying to do.

His dear wife passed away in January this year and it caused him a lot of stress, so it has been a really hard time for him, what with bereavement and his own poor health, he is looking forward to spending a bit of time with his daughter in the summer and they plan to get out and about, so that is nice.

He asked me to give his best wishes to all members.

It´s a shame he won't read this post and see he is missed and how well thought of he is.

So sad after being so active. Just hope he can get back onto the forum at some point.

Thank you for sharing that, please if anyone is in touch with him let him know how much of a friend he is to all of us on here. I know that in the past he helped me get some bits from John's Cross when they were "unable to post something to France".

He went in, bought the item (specially ordered from Swift) and posted it to me... a real friend indeed.

Like everyone else I hope that his recovery is more rapid than predicted by the authorities. We all ow how much we value "experts opinions". 😀

Remember Jo Cox and what she stood for.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

Thanks to Jan and Paul (Coppo) for letting us all know. How awful for him. He was very kind to me although I think I drove him mad sometimes. I do wish though we could somehow get him back posting on here, might give him a bit of a lift to catch up with old friends.

If your in touch again Paul please give him all our best regards and tell him to get his arse back on here.

I am desperate to have him back

I want to know what I am doing wrong with these damned conkers because I still have spiders and cobwebs in my front porch.

Just got home after a long day at work.

I have emailed Philip again and said that everyone on here is thinking about him and have sent their best regards, I have asked if he would consider posting again now or in the future although he needs to make the decision, especially as its very soon after his wife has passed away.

I am conscious of not wanting to pressurise him due to the circumstances.

Jan, I have sent him your email address as requested.

You need to clean Jan

The cobwebs

But not the spiders

They should be preserved at all cost

When I hoover I give them time to escape

Come on I have had the hound from hell for eleven years

What’s a spider
