Quite right, Barryd would be very upset.

Wonder if my son will be working in EU after March. Weekly trips Dover to Dunkirk back and forth. I know his employer REALLY NEEDS their imported engineers to keep their planes in the air.

We are booked on the BF Santandar to Portsmouth ferry on the Sunday 14th April at 17.15. I'm hoping it won't be cancelled or the sailing time changed. There are also sailings on the 13th and 15th.

We do have a plan "B", drive across France to the Tunnel and hope for the best.

My insures (LV) will issue a Green Card if there is a no deal. This from the LV site

"Brexit and your insurance
If there’s a ‘no deal’ Brexit, you’ll be able to order a Green Card from your broker. These aren’t necessary yet, so there’s no need to contact them if you’re planning to drive in Europe"

I won't be able to get a IDP (International Driving Permit) for Spain though, I just hope we won't be stopped.

Safe travelling.

Don

Don

If you have BF a mobile phone number then you should have had a text IF your sailing is one that affected. Also don’t forget you can always go online and “Manage my booking”

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, it’s in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Could you have someone send a form for you to fill in, or do you have to appear in person?

Quoted from Twitter: Brittany Ferries Jan 22

"BBC reports have worried many customers and potential passengers today. To be clear, all passengers are being re-booked, no holidays are cancelled. It is nonsense that passengers cannot book beyond March. They can. For the facts - not fear - click here:

cheers

@Roger

Since when have facts been important when opinions are available able to be spouted as if they carried weight.... ?

Sadly broadcasters seem to carry more weight and they NEVER admit that they are broadcasting opinions rather than facts and even less that they are WRONG ever.

That is the reason why BF is now changing their timetables and having to rebook passengers - opinions not facts have lead to the mess the UK is now in c/w the EU.

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

I'm sorry I have not replied to the post but I've had a fall. My ribs and nose took the full impact. I was walking from Salema to Boca De Rio at the time.

Sorry to hear about the fall Don. I hope both ribs and nose heal soon. It can shake you up a bit as I found out when out jogging in the dark and tripped in a pothole. Take care.
