Brittany Ferry Pont Aven

Hi All

Sailed back on this ferry today from St Malo, it is the first time we have used them from St Malo. we usually used BF to sail back from Bilbao or Santander.

The Pont Aven is a very impressive ferry and very well looked after. We were impressed with our cabin, the glass elevator, the restaurant etc. It also helped that it was only a quarter full lol

Agree nice boat but the kennels are still simply stainless steel washed between use and not given time to dry. The kennels on the Pont Aven are the largest on Brittany Ferries being 1000mm square c/w 800 - 900 on the other vessels in their fleet.

No pet friendly cabins on the ship sadly, but there is a small deck area that owners can exercise their dogs on, muzzles required for all movements through the ship though.

Just some info for those of us that travel with our canine friends.

Thinking of; Mavis, Ray, Sandra and Albert at this time.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

I seem to remember Pont De Avon being a very glitzy ferry with lots of chrome and glass.

For (dogless) me it's always been a pleasure to travel on BF, once I've forgotten how much it cost!
