Passport Office – well done

I filled in my Passport Application online the middle of last week and got an email to say they had received it and would I send my old Passport to them before they could issue a new one.

I posted the old Passport last Friday afternoon.

I received my new Passport at 12.30 Wednesday, and if there's a better Government turn round service than that I've yet to see it.

Well done the Passport Office.

Unfortunately the new Passport has a Red cover …........

Mine's not due for replacement for another couple of years but I think I'll change it next March to get a blue one. Can't wait!

Whish mine could be too Terry but unless my mother signed a 'foreign-born' register I think I'd have to take out Irish citizenship.

Since my mother never travelled abroad she would have had no interest in doing so.

Keith if the colour is your only problem, then you landed jam side up! Yes I agree pp office has been brilliant for a while. Please God, may it continue into post Brexit days. I'll be applying for a new one in May next year.

Go for it but you wont get your your two years or any time added on to the new one. Thats already been dropped as we will be entering Schengen as a third country and the Schengen code does not accept passports with more than ten years on them. Anyway why do you need a passport at all? Surely you will be supporting Brexit Britain and holidaying in the UK from now on. Skeggy for you, kiss me quick hats and pishing rain. Good.

Good idea. Try the Pitcairn Islands in the South Pacific. See if you can get a trade deal for us. Population 50. Only 507999950 to go.

I'll go via Canada and the USA on the way there and route back through New Zealand, Australia and India so that will more than do it - by about two and a half times I estimate.

Trumps Bitch? No thanks!! You might struggle with India unless you agree to bring half of them back with you, the other three you might get but all three dont even add up to the population of the UK so still a fair way to go. Next!
