AutoRoller 600G control panel

Hi, first post here.

I've recently bought a 2008 RollerTeam 600G which I'm very pleased with. There have been a few niggles such as rattly bits of trim but I'm slowly finding where the various rattles and squeaks are coming from and have got rid of many of them.

My latest issue though is the control panel for the vehicle which is located over the door and looks like the image below.

Unfortunately no manual came with the vehicle (and the distributor don't seem to have one either) so I'm not sure what some of the buttons do. I've worked out the following so far:

* interior lights (right hand button)
* taps / shower (bottom right button)
* battery levels (top left button)

But I can't see what the button left button does and I can't figure out how to get the invertor on. I've replaced the vehicle leisure battery and I know that it's charged. Pressing the top right button (which looks like the invertor) produces a click from under the front seat but there 240v sockets don't have any power to them. I need to check the fuse for the sockets (that's tomorrows job) but is there anything else that I should do ?

Thanks in advance

Is the van actually fitted with an inverter?
Normally only the top end very expensive vans will have a manufacturer fitted one as standard.
It is unlikely that the factory fitted 230 volt sockets will be inverter powered.

Thanks for the reply John.

That's actually a very good point although I just assumed that the van had an inverter since the panel seems to suggest that there is one (top right button) and there's a box under the front seat behind the battery and another on the floor behind the seat.

Our previous van conversion had one so just assumed that all motorhomes had them ...

To me the top right button will be for your water tank level, I'd think when pressed it will light up the row of lights to the right of the button, illuminating whatever percentage of water is in the tank, although the logo does seem to relate to S1,S2,and S3, I can't think what that may actually be as I'd have thought S1 would be fresh water, S2 would be waste water but what S3 would be I can't imagine, possibly push the button for reading one and then again for reading two etc.
Any idea what make the on board electrical system is i.e. Schaudt, CBE ?

Pretty sure that it is from a company called Nordelettronica, not got any more info at moment though.

Ah, my engineers brain saw the sinusoidal shape on that and thought AC

That does make sense. I've got to head over to the motorhome later to measure up for a solar panel so I'll take a look.

We have two waste tanks, one for the shower/washroom and the other for the kitchen sink. Perhaps S1 is the freshwater tank and S2 and S3 are the waste tanks ? I'll have a look under the vehicle to see if any of them have wiring for sensors.

No idea of the panel make but it's fitted to some CI models as well. I'll have a look at the box under the seat to see if it has a name on it in case that provides some clues.

Thanks for that Ray, I've spent hours trying to find any details about the panel. That's a really big help.

I've bookmarked it for future reference.

Could be a useful group for you to belong to although as with many of these groups there is little activity https://www.facebook.com/rollerteamownersuk/
