New member - Swift Bel Air 730

Just found this web site - looks good. My wife, I and the dog have spent the spring and early summer touring France for 4 months in our nearly new Swift Bel Air 730 and enjoyed both the travel and the motor home. Another 4 months was spent back in the UK (8 months in a motorhone in all - but we're still talking to each other!). Would be very interested to contact any other owners of a Bel Air to swap experiences.

Swift Bel Air

Hi there Mike and Ju,
Sorry I've taken a while since your original posting but just to let you know there are other BelAir owners on this site.
Though from your travels you probably already guessed there are not a lot of us.
I own a BelAir 740 c1996, the original design after which the modifications and new models (730's & 750's) were made.
I've been told that there were only about 50 "vans" made in total of all 3 models! But we are distinctive in a crowd and get admired both in uk and abroad. I only had mine 3 weeks before venturing across the channel for 6 weeks, best way to find out how it all worked (or didn't).
I've had my "Bella" for 16 months now and am still happy with her; had a few modifications added.
Send me a PM with your email address and we can swop experiences.
Merry christmas Bella

Swift Belair.

Hi all.....always admired Belair's; all the style and "wow" in a compact UK friendly size, also they are British. Can't appreciate that after such a long wait for a British A class then for Belair production to cease after a short time. As anybody ever bottomed that ?........confused....Crindle.

Well that's interesting! We are in West Wales and tend to spend much of our time in Pembrokeshire. Where did you find yours and what layout have you got. We have a rear lounge but quite like the look of the ones with a rear bathroom.
