Alicatt

Hi we purchased a Peugeot boxer 1900cc starfire van year 2000
The van has just under 60000 on the clock. Since we have had it which is 6 months and due to lockdown etc we have only done 1500 miles. First trip out for a break to a site 70 miles from home on returning to site clutch pedal snapped. Not surprised as the bit is only plastic. Towed home etc and the garage said this had obviously happened before a few months before we bought it due to the date of manufacture of the pedal. We also know the van had a new clutch about 9000 miles ago. So this would indicate a reoccurring problem. Has anyone had similar problem and have you found out best course of action. Garage are trying to source a part which they day is now obsolete at present to see if that is the problem if not it is looking like a new clutch. Sorry to be so long winded and hope all this makes sense me not being the most technical of bods.

Hi Alicatt and welcome to the forum. I'm not a technical bod either but I'm just giving your post a bump as it seems to have been missed
