Hi Terry
It was more the wife who needed convincing but got there eventually
We purchased it October 2019 then the pandemic occurred so we only had a few weekends away last year. This year we’re planning to do as much as possible and get some use out of it
We’re currently holidaying in it on the drive for Easter. Told friends we’ve gone to Ourgate for the weekend

Excellent idea to get used to the equipment and troubleshoot any issues, we’re usually making last minute arrangements about now for our trip from NI to France and into Spain, but like many others it looks like ourgate for us too.
The saved fuel money could be spent on Guinness although my better half has paint, wallpaper and garden upgrades in her sights....... sigh 😞

Hi Steve and welcome to MHF from another Kontiki 615 owner and lover.

We have had ours since 2005 and LOVE it, ours is probably unique though as we took it with us when we moved to France and it is now registered in France (that was a game and three quarters....!).

Feel free to ask any questions that you wish or need, I have answered your question re bike racks on that thread.

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

Thanks for you reply am sure to have questions as still finding my feet. Am pretty happy so far and with a few tweaks once finances allow should be sorted
When we eventually get off the drive and make it to the continent will have to keep an eye out for the french 615. For now itís just traffic on the A370 Iím afraid
