Hi Steve, and welcome to the forum.
I'm not sure if you are in the process of looking or of actually buying but either way, if you're not aware of the importance of payload, you should check it out.
Make sure that the MH as it stands (use a weighbridge) has enough weight allowance to carry water, gas, passenger, as well as all the clobber you're likely to take.
Some MHs in the fairly recent past have not been fit for purpose.
There is then the option to upgrade the weight but, depending on your age, you may not have the necessary driving licence to drive over 3.5T.
