Thumbs up workshop manual Hymer B584 Iveco 8140.47

Am just about to buy a 1998 Hymer B584 but there does not seem to be many (if any sources) for a workshop manual for the engine which is a 1998 2.5tdi not sure if it has a cat which i understand may be the 8140.47R variant. i have also seen some info on line which indicates that some of the manuals available are either inadequate and/or of not a good quality. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Dave, and welcome to the forum. I think wfdTamar has the B584, tho don't know the chassis.

He seems pretty clued up so might be worth contacting him?

Do be careful with the manual. Chris spent hours and hours (and hours) replacing a timing belt using the settings from the manual that he had. Turned out it was wrong and he wished he had used his own judgement Some may remember the thread on here.

The Iveco 8140.47 was fitted to Fiat Ducato 1993-1999. It is 2.5L TD. The Iveco 8140.47R was fitted to the Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper of same vintage.
