Hi Ian, Welcome aboard.

Where in Northumberland are you from? I spent some of. the happiest days of my early life in Alnmouth.

Hi Drew,

We live in Blyth Northumberland, Alnmouth is just up the road.

The Northumberland coast is a beautiful place.
We are off to Beadnell camping and caravan site, it's a bit exposed as next to the beach.
Nice walks to Seahouses and Dunstanburgh castle.

Our motorhome is a 705 Sun Traveller not a 730.

I will get some pics and upload

Ian

Hi, No not my first Motorhome, My first one was a Bedford CF 1980, it was in great condition and we went all over the UK with it.

We have had the Knaus 10 months, Our first outing was the return trip from Carlisle, we stopped 2 nights in the Knaus, we had some basic instructions on how things worked but you know you forget, all the instruction books are in German, we made it though using some common sense, 2nd trip was to Loch Lomond for a week, we were familiar with the MH by then, it drives like a new vehicle, there is a knock on near side front wheel - ball joint I expect - MOT in may and I will get it fixed then, there is nowt falling off so not worried taking it out this week.
Changing front brake pads tomorrow as the red warning light is on.
It's great to be honest, fixed bed, loads of room, moped rack and the size does not faze me i'm an ex coach driver

Enjoy I'm coming up to my 11th summer in my moho and still love the feeling of taking off on an adventure! D-day is 8 May - to the garage for MOT, service and timing belt change for starters.
