Moho SORN'd - do I need to renew MOT on due date?

Well the heading says it all - my moho will still be SORN'd on the date of the MOT renewal in April. Do I still need to get it MOT'd while it's SORN'd or just when I un-SORN it again?

When you tax (unsorn) it, for which you will need MoT.

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

Once SORN'd an MOT is no longer required until you drive or park it on the road again. To do this you'll then need to tax it and MOT it . You won't be able to Tax it until it has an MOT but you are allowed to drive it to and from an MOT station to get it MOT'd as long as the MOT is pre booked.

See the DVLA website here https://www.gov.uk/make-a-sorn
and DVSA website here https://www.gov.uk/getting-an-mot

To a PRE-ARRANGED test only, you canít drive there ďon specĒ

Bizarrely there is no requirement for it to be at the nearest test centre, it can be many hundreds of miles away!

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, itís in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Thank you! I thought/hoped so as I'm "running late" this year and I'll have to co-opt my son's help with moho matters.
