If I change anything in a van I keep the parts for if I sell it, and just put them in a bag under the beds, If the new part is something I want to keep, I retrieve the old bits and put it back to how it was.

What think you?
I suppose you tested or were using it for something. As said TVs do not use USB, but lots of things do especially chargers for phones, etc. Were is the socket, is it in a place convenient to use for charging a phone. If so put in a combo socket with usb. If not why not just replace it and forget about it until you sell the camper.

If you have questions about touring, living, driving, etc in Italy message me.

I use it (with 12/USB adapter) for my MiFi which is velcro'd to the wall above the socket.

Thanks Alan, that's a very kind gesture and I really appreciate it. However, I'm very happy with no TV. The only regular programme I watch is Channel 4 news and I can get that on the phone. Any drama I miss I can usually get on catch-up.
