water faucet

Hello.
I have a Dethleffs A6840 globetrotter.
A problem has suddenly appeared as i cant get electricity to my water faucet in the kitchen (the ones in the bathroom works)
I have checked the fuses and cant find nothing wrong. Cable break perhaps?

Any ideas?

And does anyone have a wiring diagram for this or a similar veichle?

Hi tomo, welcome to the forum.

Some water systems use a microswitch on the tap to initiate flow - maybe you've a faulty switch on that tap?

No i dont believe its the microswitch. Tried bypassing the switch and the FW pump did not start. Also tried to measure the elecricity on the cabling and there was no power.

Possibly a cable break or unplugged somewhere. Anything changed since it last worked?

I'd look at the wire colouring on the working tap and see if it matches the colours on faulty tap (they should)
Then try and trace them. At some point they probably join (or split) you can then test continuity along each wire.

How did you check for power at the switch?

Likely the switch just breaks a live wire so putting a multimeter across it to check for voltage wouldn't show anything. You'd need an earth from elsewhere I reckon, back to the leisure battery with another bit of wire for instance.
