Image too wide - a scrolling nuisance to be avoided!
(Please read the red bit. The rest is only to show the effect I'm describing.)
This is an example of what happens when a photo is posted which is too wide.
It not only forces its own post wider than the screen, but also makes the whole thread the same width.
This is a nuisance, especially if there is a lot of text in some posts, since
it becomes necessary to scroll horizontally in order to read every line of text. See below the photo
This is going to be a very long sentence which is utterly unimportant except for use to illustrate the point I am making about wide photographs or other images forcing the page width to become greater than that which can be accommodated by the computer screen and therefore making it a pain in the arse to read because it becomes necessary to scroll horizontally in order to reveal the whole of each and every line. This is probably enough to make the point but just to be sure I'll drivel on a bit more with some additional waffle simply to rub it in and convince any unbelievers that it really is a pain in the fundamental orifice, especially when it's something worth reading!!
