Hi.

Do I have to pay money to post and participate on this forums?
Would my free member get restricted e.g. after number of free posts?

Thanks

You are allowed a very limited number of posts as a Junior Member, but that will run out rapidly and subscribing is desirable for continued use. The cost is, I believe, £12.50 and the advice available on here can save that very quickly indeed - for me, joining way back when Jack was a lad, meant I did not have to undertake a 50 mile each way journey to the dealer and then a minimum of 1 hour @ £75 an hour....

Sorting the problem took me 10 minutes and cost less than 5p, it took about 30 minutes after posting before I got the advice I needed - like winning a very small lottery...

Yes it is, but there are costs involved in operating such things, unlike Google, the advertising does not pay for the service.

I use my telephone to discuss and share things, but expect to pay for using it, the cost of MHF is VERY much less per year than the cost of using any phone.

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Dies the £12.50 cover you for life or was that just a one-off?

TBH I do not know, I joined before there was a charge and was given "life" for the crimes I committed as one of the Moderators. 🤔

Being a member does not allow me to access the "registration" pages as my tablet fortunately, remembers me and logs me in automatically.

Other, newer users or the Local Admin may be able to advise on that.

For me stay a free member until you cannot post the only benefit of being being a paid member is that you can see the posts in the subscriber lounge which is mainly dominated by a few number of members on a small number of subjects the content of motorhome topics gets less month by month unfortunately Motorhome Facts as slipped from being number 1 to being well down the league in motorhome forums

I think the £12.50 is now for life, but I cannot confirm it.

For God's sake just pay £12.50 and get on with your life.

Interesting that the word "payment" flags up a very quick response from the admin.....................

But thanks Kevin so we know that you are there.

Spooky travelled with us for 5 years and over 20,000 miles. He died aged 11 and is buried in Delphi in Greece.
Now that's a great age and a great adventure for a rabbit and I think he deserves a mention.
