How to reduce size of photos?

Can anyone help? I'd like a quick n easy way to make any photos/screenshots I'm uploading to the site smaller so they use less of my precious data.

I'm working almost exclusively on an android phone and using the EMV version of the site.

Thanks.

Hi Jean.
Sadly I have only mastered resizing on the Win PC.
Right click pic and select Microsoft Office Manager,
Click Picture tab and select Resize.

Other than that I have reduced my Android phones pixels from 14m to 5m just for easy transmission.

I have used an android app to do that Jean.

I'm unsure of the name but I see one called Fast Image Compressor on my phone so that may be it.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Alan - I picked LitPhoto which has a 4.8 rating and it seems to work fine. I'm going to upload a photo again to my Croatia thread, see how different it looks. It reduced 4.7MB to just under 1 (for 3 photos - and I could do them together).

I use Pixresizer - free and very easy to use.

For Videos of the Aires we've used, Eurotunnel journeys and many other more obscure Videos have a look at - www.youtube.com/user/KeithChesterfield

Tried Alan's original suggestion Fast Image Compressor - same outcome.

Thanks Keith, I might be a wimp but so far I've avoided downloading anything that's not I playstore.

I wonder if I change the name from some hugely long sequence of numbers n letters, might that make a difference? I shall try.

Think I gave wrong info on other thread - Lit creates jgeg, Fast Compression gives a png.

Well, changing the name seems to have done the trick!
