OK, the Fun Quizzes page is blank, so if you say that there IS content somewhere on the site then I take it back, not found any actual content.

You mean the Majestic 175 2 berth motorhome for £35,500?

Will that convince you?
Well found Siggs, I missed it altogether, must try again.

Good job that I had the page still open in anther tab from last night then - and I did mention in my initial post that you quoted that it was a 'Maj'.

But if you still doubt (and it wouldn't be the first time you have called me a liar in this forum!!) then here is the page...

I've been called a liar on here too, not by you I should add.

It's quite annoying to be called a lair and we are fortunate if we can show that we didn't lie. In my case I was accused of having edited a post. Luckily it was obvious that I had not done so because I'd been quoted within a few seconds of having posted.

I have no intention of getting into a "he said you said" childish argument over this, that is not the point. This was what I wrote;

The challenge to set them is in two parts, I will give you a clue that they will not be found on the current front page;

Find the "Fun Quizzes" and see how long it takes you......

then you will see why it is NOT suitable to have on the banner headline, your nearest and dearest may well try to lynch you for the atrocious trial you will have put them under.....

and then see if they can find some details about the Coachbuilt MotorHome offered for sale on Wed 6 July 2016 09:00 by edw45r2

By that time they may well be seeking a divorce......

snipped as no longer relevant

Dave
I can see no reference to me saying it was a Maj so you are the one that found that information, not me and I have NEVER doubted that you had found the correct vehicle since I could not and still cannot find any details of it on the classifieds, the new forum classifieds or anywhere else, so congratulations you have managed to find something that I could not and in no way was I doubting your accuracy of response. I was not questioning you in any way over that;

please do not try to make this personal, it is not in any way. It is perhaps indicative of the trouble that you have gone to in order to locate it when I cannot and sadly neither can Kev. so both of us had better take lessons from you please maestro.

And I am not joking that I STILL cannot find it, neither am I doubting you in any way.

Dave

Remember Jo Cox and what she stood for.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

So the classified ads page on the old site no longer has any listings and says if clicked "No ads found" - perhaps the MHF Local Admin sorted that when they checked earlier today......

But there are apparently no "Fun Quizzes" anymore - even though I can well remember Carol sharing quite a few and I remember submitting a couple to her, all gone into the mists of time.....

Hence why I feel a major revision of whether it is worth keeping much of the old site visible now, I listed a few from the tab headed "Resources", which Kev has also highlighted and that's only from one tab......

Maybe it is time to download all of the Campsite database (if that is possible) and put it into a new resource - it has been said that neither VS nor NukeAdmin/ODB owns it and the information was entirely supplied by the members of MHF?

Dave
Heya guys, we will not ditch or loose any info that is relevant, just clean up the links that are not longer active.

I will discuss any updates with the mod team before changes are made.

Jeff,

if you have read through the thread so far one fact is very apparent, MANY of those links are now redundant

BUT

unless you have detailed knowledge of UK MH, their manufacture and their operation then please seek the advice of those that KNOW - the members on here,

To say that you will discuss any updates with the mod team - who as far as we know are NOT in the UK and may have no knowledge of MH does not fill me with any degree of confidence as there is no evidence of what I would regard as "informed input for UK MH".

Various people have offered to assist, please use those offers and their expertise, that way irreversible errors are much less likely to be made. Once things have been deleted or changed, there is no way back.....

I'm trying to compile a list, so a poll of some kind can be created to see what members want to keep.

Pages I can open

This first one is top of the resources tab, didn't even see it before.

Motorhome valuation page, dunno if it's worth keeping

Download page POIs PDFs etc, seems to be working fine.

There is more info under the other tabs too, but I'll leave those for now, until I see the reaction to the above, but at least it will show VS that even if they don't care on the top floor, we bloody well do and they better take notice, as we can easily set up a new FREE web site, and move lock stock & members to it.
Thanks for reviewing, will discuss with mods.

This is not a "he said you said", it is me defending myself from your accusations, once again!!

I never said you did, I said that I had already said it was a 'Maj' in the post you quoted, not that you had said it was.

The way it came across to me, and your past attitude to what I have posted, screamed out that you were saying I had made it up, as the information was not available any more. Well when I took up your initial challenge, for fun, the information WAS there - the page (that you posted a screen shot of earlier) listed 1 coachbuilt motorhome ad when I visited it, and that is what I clicked on to get to the advert itself - the screen-shot that I posted.

You made this personal with your previous questioning of my honesty and your sarcastic comments directed at me, examples of both of which can be found in this thread!

I can't find it now and the previous URL to the ad page now also returns a blank page. But when I took up your challenge the information was there to be found.

Your earlier posts certainly show that you doubted me...

You clearly state here that you thought I had not completed the challenges and had therefore lied!

So if you didn't doubt me why ask for a screen print?

I had already stated that it was a 'Maj' but still you wanted further 'proof' that I had indeed done what I said I had. Again, to me (and possible several others) this comes across as you having said I had lied about my claims!! As I have said, it is not the first time you have done this, except last time you plain came out and said so!

Just who are these UK based Mods and Admins and what are their personal experiences with motorhoming in the UK?
