yes, if you are using a saved bookmark to get in, and it was the old front page, it will still go to the old front page! Get to a page you want to access the site from, as noted in MHFAdmin's post above, then save that page as a bookmark in your browser, and use that as your new main access.

I am still disgusted with the way that the new site was brought in, I received nothing to tell me how to get on to it at all and was led by members on here.

I'm wondering how the members on here were able to help you if you weren't able to get on to the site?

Hi.

Finally managed to get to the new front page and not have to log in every time. Had to remove site from Favourites and also as icon on screen. Then had to get MHF from Google search and put back in favourites and then icon onto my front screen.front. This may be so easy for a lot of you but not for me. Not used to Windows 8 yet could be my problem.

I have managed to finally get mostly to grips with the new site.
It's still a pain and a steep learning curve for myself and obviously others.

I can only regard the whole process as a backward step like going from a friendly and usable Win 7 to the hateful Win 8 causing hours of frustration.

Ray.

Now how do I get back to the list of topics without closing mhf and reopening it up again?
Then going TOOLS, QUICK LINKS then across to TODAY'S TOPICS..???

Because not all members are as bright as you seem to be, I bow to you.

Thanks Mike.
I guess I use 'My Topics' as a saved fav.
Now another saved fav is 'Active Topics'.

Thanks Ray.
