Downtime and Upgrade Wednesday

This is to let everyone know we will have expected down time on the site for most of this coming Wednesday and should begin around 4am UK time until about 8pm UK time.

There will be a maintenance window posted that will update you on if it will be early or if we are running a little later than expected. When the site comes back online it look a little different and the forum will be running on a new more feature rich software platform. If you are familiar with vBulletin from other forums this is what the site will run on. We have a newer mobile friendlier version of the site that will also appear if you are on a phone or tablet.

I will also be online unless I am sleeping or communing between the office and home to be able to help with answering questions and trouble shooting any issues you may have with your accounts on the new format.

Thanks,

Philip

Thanks but does this mean the old mobile version will go? https://www.motorhomefacts.com/mo/menu.php?type=htm

I uses it quite a lot as it uses very little data. Important on phones and mobile devices when abroad.

Thanks for the advance warning, it will be good to see the new appearance, I wish all the techies the best with the transition.

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

Its likely we will lose this. The new mobile version is very light and very fast compared to loading the entire site on a browser.

I will also try to have some of our support team on here when I am not to help. I am usually in the office from 11AM EST but at least one support person is here 7am EST. There will be a thread specifically for posting HELP related questions that will send alerts to us in the form of tickets to get responses posted as quickly as possible.

Exciting eh! Makes me wonder whether I should camp overnight tuesday

Seriously though good luck. By the way have you got ownership of the campsite database yet so that can be revamped and run for the full benefit of members again?

One step at a time, first thing is to get this forum working as it should first.

What the hell for, why downgrade, that' s for when you are dead

WARNING.!!... The above post may contain an opinion

Academia and government artificially select for particular traits, among which is a lack of life experience. This is why it's possible for a person to be exceptionally bright while failing to grasp something as rudimentary as supply and demand.

Intellectuals: All engine, no map.

Is there a option for you to revert back to the old site if you get complaints.

What's stopping you??

A straightforward question.

Could it be that you can't bear to part with MHF?
