Many thanks to all who responded to my posting it was a great help & good to know plenty of people watch ( 3412 at last count) this great Motorhomefacts.com forum. What a wonderfull system we have for only £ 10.00 per year & great to have the internet. Many thanks Chris & gail regards from hot & sunny Pals nr Girona Costa Brava Spain only 50 miles from the French Border well worth a visit. www.interpals.com plenty of beaches incl Nudist beach

Much as us Ducato owner are eager to help Renault owners, perhaps a mod might move this to the Renault section for future reference if another Renault owner should get the same problem?

Hi Lucy

Just had a phone call from Bernard . . . . he's also broken down!

Well, not exactly. His submersible (caravan) water pump has self-destructed and he can't get a new one in Spain.

Not a terminal problem however. Just an inconvenience - unless they have to rely on their own shower, in which case they could lose friends very rapidly in that heat!

Just thought you would be interested to hear this.

I have a spare submersable pump with me if its any good to him. he will have to call & collect my gps is n41deg 58.874
e3deg 11.994
It goes inside the tank with a red & black wire.
