I've got a 2002 Hobby 750 6 wheeler with the 2.8JTD plated at 4500Kgs and probably running a little above this most of the time!

Bought it new and taken it all round Europe a few times including Greece and East Europe. Had it re-mapped to 160 odd BHP and it pulls well returning about 25MPG

Not missed a beat yet - mind you the horn is a piece of dog poo and will not work!

I just got a 2006 Ducato Maxi.
It is in excellent condition for its vintage.
Just doing some servicing now. Nothing out of the ordinary for the age.

Great space.
Excellent engine.
Auto Gearbox seems OK also. I am about to change the auto fluid.

Had over 300k on it so it must have been reliable.
Also think ...like all cars...when they get older, just need some servicing.

I see the sprinters, transits, renault Big Vans all have problems when they get older.
My Fiat Ducato has a ZF german auto gearbox in it afterall!
I feel pretty good about that.
