Angry Fiat Ducato 2.5 Help with Diagnosing issue

I have a 1994 Ducato 2.5 diesel, coachbuilt motorhome, Eura Mobil.
Last year when leaving to go on holiday the engine lost all power and white smoke billowed out of the exhaust. Breakdown came out and couldn't repair.
I have had a mechanic looking at it on my drive since.
Fuel filter replaced.
Compression checked - all cylinders 220+ psi, consistent, so head/gasket OK.
Injectors were rattly so suspected them, all refurbed for £250, replaced, still issue, lots of white smoke and no power.
Fuel tank filter taken out and checked and cleaned - looked OK and not blocked.
A bit frustrated as its taken hours so far and were fairly sure was injectors.
Next to check is timing belt, is timing OK. Then after that all it can be is the pump, we think.
Any suggestions as to what it may be and any other tests to undertake?

I am NOT a mechanic but I also think that I remember this problem coming up on another MH.

Does yours have a turbo ? I seem to remember that in the end it was a fault there, I am thinking that there was a leak in a Jose connected with it, but as I said,

I AM NOT A MECHANIC and only an interested owner.

I am sure someone will be along soon to disprove my suggestion and actually give you GOOD advice, but at least by my replying your post goes to the top of the list again.

Good luck and welcome to MHF.

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

I said I wasn't mechanic - sorry not to have been able to help.

A friend says that white smoke indicates unburned fuel going right through, but you probably knew that so this is really just another bump. Don't worry about replying though.

Hello to anybody that can help me.
I have a auto trail, and it has a large fridge, and while we are on the drive and attached to electric it is wonderful nice and cold, but when we hit the road, the fridge drips badly. We have it on the 12v, and we need to know what is wrong . Can anybody help with advice please?
Thank you.
