Poor FM radio reception

The radio reception in my 2013 MY Ducato is pretty poor.
I understand that the radio aerial and booster is housed in the nearside mirror.
The signal strength used to be fine. Could the problem be that the signal amplifier (booster) doesn't have a good 12V feed? Is there a fuse that could have blown? The reception is better when the engine not running if that gives any clues.
Thanks in anticipation, Chris

IMO they have reduced the power of FM and MW and LW transmissions as they are so keen on DAB broadcasts and presumably that now takes some of the available transmission power.

I may be wrong, but we used to pick up R4 LW down through a very large part of France and R4 FM easily in the U.K. But now we struggle with both even in the Home Counties.

Very annoying too as often impossible to get R4 continuously on any journey.

Remember Jo Cox and what she stood for.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

Ah, that could explain why it used to be OK and is now weaker. Very annoying!
