I can't help with a diagram but are your sure it's a wiring problem and not the wiper motor at fault? I ask because I have experience of an early wiper motor (1994 van) where the copper tracks that control the wipe speeds etc (similar to a printer circuit) can crack. I repaired mine simply by soldering across the break in the track. It's an relatively easy and cheap fix if you know how to solder.

I have had problems with the connector to the wiper motor.

Removed the connector to find a load of corrosion. Cleaned up and working again.

recently helped a friend with a wiper problem - wipers would stop

turned out to be the spindle going through the drivers side bodywork

eventually freed it up with copious amounts of wd40 - had to remove wiper arms to get at the spindles & seem to think I had to remove a plastic seal to get the wd40 down to the spindle which was dry and sticking

Personal Aire
Mine seized up a couple of years ago. Like trek, I stripped and cleaned them but I used grease as WD40 is not a lubricant. They have been fine ever since.

We were on a camp site with limited tools & lubricants

& the spindle was stuck fast

I think it was the movement in the arm & spindle mounting that gave me the idea it was stuck fast

anyway I agree with 747 about using grease but we only had wd40 & we couldn't dismantle the thing it was stuck fast

I did suggest that when the guy got home he stripped & greased it, but to my knowledge he hasn't and it is still working ok !
