Broken Clutch Pedal??

Decided to go away for a few days to the Malvern and West Showground motorhome show. Left Devon on Friday and after a very long journey up the M5 which was absolutely chocca, arrived in Malvern and started to search for a supermarket to stock up with food.

At that moment as we were pulling away from the traffic lights, Bang!! my clutch pedal snapped off, leaving me stuck in gear and bouncing along like a kangaroo. Long story short... Breakdown company towed me to Malvern Hills CC campsite and parked me on a pitch where we stayed for the next 4 days.

I found a little local garage who I must give a promo for because the two young lads who run it were beyond helpful. I phoned on Friday at 17:00 and Darren, the owner, said he would have a hunt around and try and find a clutch pedal. He phoned Saturday and said he'd found one but couldn't get it delivered until Tuesday morning. I hummed and hah'd but he ordered it anyway and on Tuesday at 10:30 it arrived. He came out to us on site and fitted the replacement in about one hour or so. Said don't worry about paying me now I'll send you an invoice on email and you can transfer direct into our bank account.

So - good lads, trusting and efficient. Not much of that about is there? So Darren and Chris from VRS Malvern Ltd - Tel 01684 891050 Website: www.vrsmalvern.com - good on you and if anyone breaks down in the area and needs help, I can absolutely recommend them.

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, itís in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with
