Heater fan switch only works on highest speed

Anyone else had this problem on a 2001 boxer 270 1.9TD. How did you find out where the elusive resistor pack was located? How did you fix it? Where did you buy a replacement?

Try a search on here or Google. I remember reading about that fault several times on here. It's nothing too tricky to fix as I recall, some resistors perhaps.

Someone who's had the problem will be along soon with the proper answer, just give it a while.

If your van has a Truma space heater, then you might like to quickly scan through this PDF that includes exploded drawings and part numbers of their range.

Grove Products telephone number is 0161-367-7303.

Thanks erneboy. I think I've solved the problem after searching the whole of google, plus the Fiat forum and many others. I just thought I might be a help to others with a similar problem as it's apparently such a "common" fault. :wink2:

Thanks John but I'm referring to the cab heater! :)

There is a rheostat type thing who pack up, they control the lower speeds, simple fix once you get at it, I think mine was about £16 for a 2007 Relay.

Not fixed yet but I have the resistor pack on order. Where did you find yours located. Was it behind the dashboard?
