Adria Twin 600 SPB Gas locker

Hello All.
I will shortly be taking delivery of a new adria twin 600 spb supreme and have to order gas bottles.
I would like to buy the biggest bottles that can fit. The dealer says go with 6kg but the spec sheet says it will take 2 x 11kg bottles
Any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks
Graham

First question would be do you want a refillable LPG system or stand alone cylinders from the garage?

How much will you be using the gas and will you be on campsites with hook up.

I have 2 x 11KG LPG Gaslow and never use campsites and used 9 litres on an 18 day trip to France a few weeks ago. All our cooking/fridge/hot water for washing and showers every day for 2 people as a clue to usage. Refillable are by far the easiest system if you intend to travel outside the UK.

I'd go with either one or two 11kg Gasit refillable cylinder/s or 11kg + 6kg the latter means you should never run out and gives a little spare space in the locker for perhaps water hoses etc, Gaslow or Gasit (slightly cheaper) are available as a DIY kit if you're up to such fun.

Hi Graham n welcome to the forum.

I have 2x11kg gaslow refillables. They've been absolutely great. My original reason for getting the system was that the cylinder lived in a gas locker within the garage - a nuisance to get the empty cylinder out but a killer to get the heavy, full one in.

I thank my lucky stars for that early decision every time I fill up.

We hada 2 x11kg Gaslow Refillable System fitted to Brunhilde in mid July. We had paid 27.65 for a 6kg exchange cylinder and the first refill of marginally less than 6kg [11.07 litres] cost us 6.39. About 40 Refills will recoup the cost of the system installation ...

Hi Graham, as an Adria owner too, can I ask what country you are in? I'm in Australia.

Cheers

Hi greyducato, welcome to the forum. Not sure if Graham has been back since posting his query, or where he comes from. Most of us are based either in UK or nearby Europe.

But that's not to say we won't have info that might be useful to you, and vice versa!
