LPG Price

Hi Alex,
We met briefly at Tesco Carlisle recently and discussed your Vespa 400. Did Bobby from Kinross contact you?

Up this neck of the woods, Gleaner Oils have the monopoly for LPG and I've seen a difference of 23.5p/litre between my local dealer and Asda at Aberdeen or Dundee.

I used the BP garage just off the A9 at Perth regularly but it no longer sells LPG
There's another further down nearer Dunblane southbound and a Gulf garage straight through Bridge of Allan on the Alloa road.

At Cala de Mijas in Spain, Dutch bloke was selling adaptors for all countries except it was a small thread which is what you have. I had to show him one of the adaptors which fit the Gaslow before he was convinced.

Cheers,
Alan

I think BP are still selling LPG, but only in places where they can get the price they want for it, like Ft William.

Market forces.

None on Arran, there used to be two LPG cars on there, but not enough to pay for the upkeep of the tank and pump, so they took it out a few years ago.

Yes Kev,
Still a few BP selling LPG. Worthwhile filling up before visiting the Western Isles. There is one garage in Stornoway on Lewis who sold LPG but his pump was broken awaiting spares. Reckoned about a week!!

My travelling companion needed a 6kg Calor for which he was relieved of £24 - that was about 3 years ago.

Cheers,
Alan

I have won a few good prizes here My Lambretta series 2 got best in show a couple of years back. And we got a second place with our (now sold) Elan Sprint up at Glamis. We are weekending there too this year.

Good to hear from you man. keep in touch eh.

Also the Electric bicycles are just great.

My Son (shell expo.. offshore) asked me to get him a new 6kg gas as they are leaving on holiday as soon as he hits the beach.

I was in 4 outlets before I found one. Price? £19,00. But I had to buy it.

Hey ho. He is just not interested in refillable.

You can lead a horse to water and all that.

Check out the price if you do not have a bottle to swap though, it makes refillable look like the cheaper option.
