@JanHank There will probably be exchange booths at the border..................but do remember they are not there for your convenience. They may say no commission but it will be a poor rate
We use our debit card from N&P RIP everywhere and at ATM to get cash.
We will have to buy an actual vignette for Czech Republic, so I might actually change €20 in advance. Then we are prepared for the border crossing.

We spent a fortnight in the Czech Rep (Kutna Hora and Brno definitely worth a stop) the Country is the Trompe-l'œil capital of Europe. Managed it all on Trunk roads they were generally good. Would not bother with a vignette next time I go either unless I was in a hurry.

Never bought a Vignette either, we avoid motorways like the plague.
Wednesday is the off day (no not off, off) Our first stop will be here, second stop the next one which is just in CZ
