Help - need a stop in Croatia for tomorrow night

I'm coming a bit unstuck, regarding finding somewhere to stay over. I'm currently on wildcamping at Knin and intend tomorrow to work my way down road 1 to Sinj, then road 60 towards Trilj and Lovreć. Ideally that's the stretch of road I'd like to be on for a stop (or close by).

I'm using Park4night, Campercontact, Aires CCI n ACSI but there's very little in the hinterland. Don't know why cos I'm loving it!

If anyone knows of any stops in that area I'd be very grateful. Thanks.

Nobody got any other resources? I forgot to mention I also used search4sites.

I don't think the hinterland exists, except in my imagination!

Just had a brilliant idea - use the inbuilt campsite POIs of the satnav.

The nearest one to my destination is 1163km away 😂😂

Hi Jean

Have had a look on my GO Camper and there a no Campsites shown along that route. Most appear to be on the coast. So sorry can't help you.

Ah well Doug, it looks like I'll be breaking new ground! Thanks for trying.

BTW, are you seeing the smilies in post #3 or is it still all gobbledegook?

Ah, pity, thought I might've solved it with a different browser (tho I probably tried that ages ago).

The good news is, I've found somewhere to park I Sestanovac - there's a Tommy supermarket on the outskirts (well, it's only a very little village so it doesn't really have outskirts).

I went in for milk and wine (my staples!) and had it translated on my phone. She asked her supervisor n she said OK.

It's on a slope but I'm OK with that (hope the fridge is!)

I thought I might've got somewhere in Cista Provo but when I tried to find the sports ground I ended up in someone's newbuild! With a well-overhanging roof n not much space to turn.

There were lots of restaurants there (it's a busy cross-roads) but they're all right on the street with no other parking.

Anyway, here now n enjoying a coffee (no food to be had so got a Mars bar from the local shop - bad girl!)

Well we canít help Jean

We just stop wherever we are

The inland road has little in campsites

As you say a hinterland

We drove it searching for bears and wolves

Both in short supply it seemed

But itís a long strait road and thatís what we needed on our return

I hope you enjoyed Croatia as much as we did
And that sea remains with you

I'm loving what I've seen so far.

We must've been on different 'hinterland' roads as mine was anything but straight!

No bears or wolves on that one either.
