Cool Not many come this way , BUT please read it

the crossing from Germany Hohenwuzen to Osinow Dolney Poland will be fully closed between 16th-28th July 2018. Alternate crossings Schwedt about 50 km north or Küstrin even further south. Germans work in Poland and Poles work in Germany, think of the extra fuel as well as extra hours these poor people have to use and all that CO2 into the environment.

Our village has been cut off from the main road since April, I think they work 1 day a week, the only heavy plant to be seen are trees. The official route in and out of the village takes us at least half an our extra.
This is in a so called environmentally friendly country.

Many of you Motorhomers think Germany is an efficiency country, we know different, their so called efficiency usually results in utter chaos.

Traffic management is not in their vocabulary along with many other things.

P.S. think of all the extra miles we´ll have to drive for cheap fuel and beer We´ve stocked up on beer best we can, have to pay German prices for fuel if we need any I s´pose.

Diesel yesterday was €1.15 exchange rate about €1.13 to the £
Our beer is 2.62 polish zloty a 550ml tin just over .50p a tin. We buy beer their for 2 reasons, we like it and no blinking deposits on the empty tin, just crush and in- za-bin. 25cent deposit on plastic bottles and cans in Germany, glass beer bottles 9 cent.

Some food stuffs are cheaper, but I don't buy an awful lot of food there because I'm not sure what it is I am buying.
Meat and proper cheddar cheese, vegetables and that sort of thing, but not a lot else.
We have the big market at the crossing where Berliners flock daily for clothes, cigs (also cheaper) and all sorts of other things.
There is a lovely FREE stellplatz (elec hookup and water available) down by the river, we were there yesterday for a couple of hours. Motley met this chap, Aze (pronounce Atse) who was a 2 year old rather boisterous, low on the hind legs GSD.
Just seen my photo doesn't have a date stamp, must put that right for the next ones.

A short haired GS

Can’t be clipped to a bear

But beautiful

Although I never did short haired GS

And I never thought I’d clip the long haired hound from hell

Into a bear

But MHomes , wet swimming dogs

He was doomed

Clipped, cool , central heating in the winter

A swimming hound that dried a bit quickly
